CompTIA A+ Certification

Coming from CompTIA (the Computing Technology Industry Association), the leading global IT trade association, A+ is the internationally-recognised industry standard for entry-level computer technicians.

With more than 19,000 members in 89 countries, CompTIA is the world’s largest developer of vendor-neutral IT certification exams, working with training, academic and government experts.

As the benchmark for current knowledge and skills in computer service and support, the A+ Certification is evaluated each year, and a few new test questions are introduced if appropriate to reflect advances in technology.

Having the A+ Certification proves that you have a broad base of knowledge and competency in core hardware and operating system technologies including installation, building, configuration, upgrading, troubleshooting & repair, preventive maintenance.  Also included are troubleshooting basic networking and Internet connectivity, dial-up, DSL, and cable.

A+ Certification is known throughout the technology community as one of the best ways to break into the information technology field and build a solid career.  A+ is a foundation for progression to CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), etc.
