TECC  is a small community enterprise set up to help the unemployed.

We have established a computer facility to support our clients locally, and our shipments further afield.
This resource incorporates a cyber facility where the local community can use broadband Internet, emailing, faxing, colour printing/copying, scanning, etc.

PC Technician training commenced in 2005 to equip Trainees with the CompTIA A+ Certification, plus hands-on experience in our refurbishing area, and a reference, to help them move on to employment.

Description:
The Ethical Computer Centre is a project of Burslem Ethical Trust (registered charity 1082990), a community education and development initiative.

The TECC project started in 1999 to enable re-use of unwanted computer equipment, in order to provide very affordable computer equipment, with a support facility, for the community.

TECC helps to provide computers to developing countries.  See the Peppercorn IT website.

TECC has the central aim of equipping those who need work, with knowledge and practical skills in information technology (IT), administration and other fields, so that they are of immediate use to prospective employers.

We operate as a Team.  All areas of interest, aptitude and expertise are valued to complement the Team.
We do not have the resources to continuously supervise people, and so initiative, self-motivation and reliability are essential.
