For Data Recovery services we normally do an initial hour of work to determine the feasibility of the data recovery (and try to recover the data in this hour) - we then quote for the remainder of the work if needed - please contact us to see if we can help.

We normally work with disks which are accessible but which may have corrupt filesystems or bad sectors. We cannot however handle the recovery of data if a drive is none functional (the recovery process is more problematic here and can be substantially more expensive, we can advise you of 3rd party companies who have the technical equipment for this type of recovery).

In extreme cases we will look at the disk as a single image and look for residual data as specified by the customer. Fragments of residual data of this form may remain on computers days, months or years after deletion even if reformatting has been done.
